FNRL 9s: Sabeto Roosters victorious

SABETO Roosters team won the Fiji National Rugby League (FNRL) 9s tournament championship after edging Coastline Roos 10-6 to a tough encounter at the Bidesi Park earlier this afternoon.

The Siva Varo coached side despite being pressured by their opponents maintained their unbeaten run till the last whistle blow.

“We executed our game plan well and the players really combined really well,” Varo said.

“We would like to dedicate the win to the Momo levu na Tui Sabeto and to the Rooster community for their never ending support.”

The team has now set focus to next week’s Wadigi 7s tournament.
