FIJI National Provident Fund (FNPF) members are being encouraged to download the myFNPF App from the Google Playstore and the Apple App store in order to view their latest annual account statements.

In a statement issued today, FNPF chief executive officer Jaoji Koroi said members would also be able to print their statements from the myFNPF App, reducing the need to physically visit FNPF offices.

“We want members to take ownership of their accounts and the myFNPF App enables them to do that,” Mr Koroi said

He said over the past two months, more members had been downloading and using the app, allowing them to make better decisions regarding their retirement savings.

“It’s about providing greater access, empowering them to take control of their savings and how they use or grow their funds.

“We’ve highlighted how a lot of members reaching and nearing retirement age have low balances and by giving them this access to their accounts, they are in a better position to plan the type of retirement they want.”

Mr Koroi said they were no longer just talking about securing members’ future, they were providing them the means to do that through various products and services which included their digital services.

So far, more than 10,000 members are actively using the app to track and make informed decisions regarding their retirement savings.

Meanwhile, FNPF is also urging members to update their email addresses and telephone contacts to be able to access myFUND text services and the member and pensioner E-Services Portal too.

Members can visit their nearest FNPF office or call 3307811 to update their contact details.
