Update: 1:19PM THE Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) will now be digitising all its vendor payments using a web-based electronic platform reducing the need for cheques and ensuring prompt transactions.
This after the Fund announced a partnership with ANZ Bank today, capitalising on the ANZ Transactive to improve FNPF’s cash management system, particularly involving cheque payments.
The partnership, formalised between FNPF’s newly-appointed CEO Jaoji Koroi and ANZ Fiji country head Saud Minam, is geared towards Fiji’s goal of replacing cash with electronic payments.
“Effectively, it removes the movement of physical files in our offices and manual processes. Signing up for this payment method is in line with our Go Digital strategy and we are excited about the value it adds in our service delivery,” Mr Koroi said.
Mr Minam also echoed their commitment to providing Fiji with efficient and reliable financial services.
