LAUTOKA stalwart Peni Finau is the likely replacement for Samuela Drudru who was red carded in the first leg of the Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Champions League semi-final against Marist on Sunday.
The Vodafone Blues drew 1-all with Marist from the Solomon Islands at Churchill Park.
The visitors secured a crucial away goal in the fixture which could prove decisive in the competition. Lautoka Football Association president Abdul Kadar said they were in a must win situation.
Kadar said Zibraaz Sahib who did not travel to Tahiti for the quarter-final match against AS Dragon would be available for this trip since they have a direct flight to Honiara.
“We would like to thank all the fans who turned up for the game. There are no injury concerns. Drudru is out because off the red card. Peni is the likely replacement.
“Marist will have big support on their home turf. We need a good game plan to accomplish our mission.” Lautoka has not reached the final of the regional completion.
The side held a recovery session yesterday. Kadar said it would an uphill battle playing away from home. “It will be a different ball game in Honiara,” he said. The team will depart for Honiara this morning
