Fiji’s accounting fraternity mourn loss of significant contributor

THE accounting fraternity is mourning the loss of one of its most valuable members – Murray Mackenzie.

Mr Mackenzie was a member of the Fiji Institute of Accountants and a significant contributor of the accounting profession in Fiji.

He was husband to Dr Tessa Mackenzie – the Pacific Theological Council secretary.

The PTC held a prayer service at the Mackenzie home in Suva this morning to pay their respects to Mr Mackenzie.

FIA vice-president and chief financial officer for BSP Rajeshwar Singh said Mr Mackenzie dedicated about 20 years of his life to the institute.

Mr Singh described Mr Mackenzie as an intelligent individual with a lot of good knowledge.
