FIJIAN rugby superstars Nemani Nadolo, Virimi Vakatawa, Peceli Yato, Alivereti Raka, Jo Rokocoko, Isa Nacewa, Timoci Nagusa and Leone Nakarawa all played vital roles for their respective teams in the Champions Cup games played over the weekend.

Fiji Airways Flying Fijian flyer Nemani Nadolo was a handful for his opponents to contain, scoring a try and setting up another to help Montpellier down Nikola Matawalu’s Glasgow 36-26.

The Namatakula native also showcased some wonderful off-loads that won the hearts of his fans.

His Flying Fijians teammate Nagusa started from the bench.

France 7s reps Viriki Vakatawa, former All Blacks flyer Jo Rokocoko and off-load master Leone Nakarawa combined perfectly to help Racing Metro 92 thump Castres 29-7. Nakarawa and Vakatawa scored a try each while Rokocoko provided the much needed impact from the bench.

Former Nadroga reps Alivereti Raka and Peceli Yato helped Clermont to survive a torrid encounter against Saracens —— winning 24-21.

Former Fijian international Isa Nacewa scored 17 points for Leinster in their 22-17 win over Exeter Chiefs.

Flying Fijians Api Ratuniyarawa and prop Campese Ma’afu did their best but were not enough to win the game as Northampton Saints went down to Ospreys 32-15.
