THE Fijians Helping Fiji Co-operative has run out of money, leaving some 5000 iTaukei farmers in limbo.

Tomorrows The Sunday Times will feature in-depth stories on the cooperative’s chairperson, Ratu Meli Vesikula, who has described the situation as “a learning process”.

More than 5000 iTaukei farmers have paid a $120 membership fee to be FHFC members in the hope that FHFC would help them export their produce to the United States.

Through investigations, The Sunday Times had obtained bank records showing the financial details of the cooperative.
