Fijian Drua to play four home games

THE Fiji Airways Fijian Drua rugby side will play four home games this season in the Australian National Rugby Championship that is scheduled to kick off in September later this year.

The Drua will play their first game in the first round against Melboune Rising on Saturday, September 1, at Ratu Cakobau Park at 3pm.

Their second home game will be played on the following Saturday, September 8, at Churchill Park in Lautoka.

The team’s third home game will be held at Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park on September 29 on the fifth round of the competition and their last home match will be held at the Churchill Park on October 6.

The semi finals will be played on October 20-21 and final is scheduled on October 27.

Compared to last year, only eight teams will participate this year in the National Rugby Championship.
