Fiji reps to feature in Fiji Finals

Update: 1:05PM FIJI Secondary Schools Athletics Association secretary Vuli Waqa has confirmed that Fiji reps athletes who missed out in their zone competition will still participate in the Coca-Cola Games next month.

Waqa confirmed that these athletes will qualify
according to their performance in Australia.

“Their performance in Australia will be taken to
account since everybody needs to achieve the standard that we set they on
another hand will be judged on how they perform in Australia,” he said.

“The Commonwealth Games is much bigger and our
athletes will be able to perform better out there than in here so I believe all
of them will be able to qualify.”

Meanwhile the Powerade National torch relay was
launched today at the Coca-Cola Amatil office in Laucala Beach.
