Fiji hosts international engineering symposium

THREE hundred participants from 30 different countries are gathered at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva today for the International Engineering Symposium.
The president of the South Pacific Engineers Association, Pratap Singh, said the symposium’s theme aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
“It is truly an inaugural international engineering symposium on a modern day challenging the theme ‘Sustainable Infrastructure – Successful Economy’, the modern day challenges in infrastructure development and delivery,” Mr Singh said.
“The theme of the Symposium is very fitting and aligns with the United Nations SDG 9 ‘Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure’.
