Fiji duo to compete in World Supermodel regional finals

TWO Fijian representatives will be competing with 22 other young women at the World Supermodel South Pacific regional finals held at the Pearl Resort in Pacific Harbour this week.
World Supermodel South Pacific officially begins tomorrow with the crowning ceremony scheduled this Saturday.
Fiji is represented by 16-year-old Blue De la Mare and 20—year-old Kolora Momoedonu.
Blue is studying law and works with her parents part-time in their family business based in Maui Bay, and Kolora is an undergraduate student at the University of the South Pacific.
A statement by World Supermodel South Pacific today said this year’s competitors were from Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Cook Islands, Samoa and Papua New Guinea.
“Fiji has hosted quite a few editions of our international finals and the last two South Pacific regional finals, and we couldn’t be happier returning to Fiji for three years in a row,” it said.

The 24 finalist will be vying for the title of World Supermodel South Pacific 2018 who will then go on to represent the South Pacific in Vietnam from September 30 to October 7 this year.
