THE Senirusi Seruvakula coached Fiji Airways Drua continued its build up as they prepare for the Australian National Rugby Conference (NRC) next week.

With all 33 players in the squad in camp, the side is focused, determined to make its mark in the NRC competition this year.

The format also sees that teams will play 7 consecutive games week after week with no bye.

“Our first game against Melbourne Rising is at home, that in itself is a boost”, Seruvakula said.

“When playing in our own backyard and with crowd support, we have to give it our all and players will be given the opportunity to play our kind of rugby”.

The Drua side rumbled its way to last year’s semi-finals while only winning four out of eight games.

Fiji Airways Drua will play Melbourne Rising in their NRC opener on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Ratu Cakobau, Nausori.
