Fighting corruption: Fiji ‘willing to share expertise’

Update: 2:25PM FIJI is willing to share its expertise in fighting corruption with smaller Pacific Island Countries.

Attorney-General
Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum said this at the Pacific
parliamentarians anti-corruption workshop in Nadi this morning.

Mr
Sayed-Khaiyum said anti-corruption practices needed to be tailored specifically
to different countries.

The
workshop will end today and has focused on the United Nations Convention
against Corruption (UNCAC).

 Fiji is one of the countries in the region that has
ratified UNCAC.
