THE objective of the 2018 Vodafone Millennium Sinu Festival is to raise awareness on proper waste disposal management.

This was highlighted by the special administrator of the Nasinu Town Council, Mosese Kama, during the talent night at the Valelevu grounds, Nasinu on Tuesday.

He said Nasinu was the largest municipality in Fiji and had a very diverse background of people.

“Nasinu as you all know is between the Suva and Nausori corridor and is the largest municipality in Fiji. When I say that, I mean we have different races, cultures and backgrounds,” Mr Kama said.

He added the festival was also a way to unite all those living in Nasinu.

The theme for tonight is Island Night and the seven queen contestants will present their sarong wear and their second public judging.
