AFTER 45 years of service at Fiji Gas and over 30 years as its CEO, Harvie Probert retired last week.
His retirement has been marked by receptions in Lautoka and Suva where staff members were able to show their appreciation and he in turn acknowledged their efforts in building Fiji Gas.
Mr Probert joined the company in 1969 and became CEO in 1983.
And for the first time in its history, Fiji Gas is without a Probert at the helm; Harvie’s father, Roger Probert, was the first CEO.
Mr Probert was replaced by Peter Lee.
Mr Lee joined Fiji Gas in November 2013.
