THE Fiji Airways Fiji 7s players had the opportunity to meet their fans at One Market in San Francisco city yesterday.
Few rugby fans from the United States and other parts of the country crowded the Fijian boys for autographs and photo shoot opportunities.
Organised by Tourism Fiji, the players and fans were also entertained with traditional meke (dances) and songs by the Tourism Fiji delegation.
Krishna Karan originally from Nadi but residing in San Francisco said she was happy to meet and talk to the players.
“This is one of the best days for me especially to be here and meet the boys,” she said.
“I have been cheering them every time they play and to personally see them is fantastic.”
Another fan Krishneel Chaudhry said he was excited to meet his rugby stars.
“Most of the time I only see them on TV but to actually talk to them and had photos taken is a wonderful experience.
“I will cheer them on during the games and I am confident they will do well this weekend.”
