Expectations for more yachts to visit Fiji this year

ABOUT 700 yachts are expected to visit Fiji this year.

Port Denarau Marina general manager Cynthia Rasch said through annual surveys conducted for the yachting industry, Fiji recorded 653 visiting yachts last year.

She said those were good numbers and this year, they expected about 700 yachts.

She added this was a busy period with bookings up and in advance.
