Ex-Corrections officers receive $50k insurance

TWO former Fiji Corrections Service officers were handed a cheque each worth $50,000 as part of the service’s Life Insurance and Medical Insurance Scheme in Suva today.

Speaking at the handover, Commissioner of Corrections, Commander Francis Kean said the funding would assist the men in their future endeavors and daily lives as it was a quite a substantial amount as per our insurance policy.

“At the same time, we are grateful to our brokers Marsh and insurance company Fiji Care for their support under our Life Insurance and Medical
Insurance Scheme at the Fiji Corrections Service,” Mr Kean said.

The two recipients were Leone Domovonu and Petero Ceinaturaga.
