Escott Shield: Army Green disqualified from semis

ARMY Green has been disqualified from the Escott Shield 2018 semi-finals.

This was after the Suva Rugby Union panel investigated a complaint made by the QVSOB club that an unregistered player was fielded in last week’s quarterfinals.

The SRU stated that the Army Green rugby club had breached sections 6.1.2 and 6.1.3 of the games rules 2018, thus ruling them out.

QVSOB will meet Navy in the second Escott shield semi-final today.
