PROMOTING decent and productive work and encouraging a healthy lifestyle are key elements to advance competitiveness and productivity in the workplace.

These were the words of Minister for Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations Jone Usamate while officiating at the launch of the Ministry’s health and wellness program for its financial year 2018/2019 today (July 27).

“In reality, health and wellness are two sides of the same coin meaning both are necessary to enable us to live a healthy and happy life,” he said.

Mr Usamate said without a proper health and wellness plan, one cannot enjoy the richness in living a good and healthy lifestyle.

“It is absolutely imperative that we train ourselves and keep our mind functioning in absolute balance.”
