Elderly man collapses at poll venue

Update: 4:10PM AN Elderly man had to be rushed to hospital from the Suva Intellectually Handicapped School polling station this morning after he collapsed while lining up to cast his vote.
Witnesses at the polling station claimed some voters had to assist and call for an ambulance which arrived a few minutes later.

There was also miscommunication by the police officers
at the gate and the election officers which confused voters.

Voters complained that constant announcements need to be made as voters are arriving at different times.

However, inside the polling room, voters said it was a
different story as the team were very efficient, friendly and that process was
easy.
