JEREMAIA Vakacabeqoli broke the hearts of the St John’s College U15 rugby team after scoring the final try for Sila Central High School in the round two of the Eastern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby Union competition at the Sila school grounds this afternoon.
The boys from Ovalau looked quite fit scoring two converted tries in the first half of the game, while the hosts were scoreless.
However, the will to win on their home turf was eminent for the Sila boys piling up their points in the second half with two converted tries and two penalty kicks.
St John’s also scored in the second half but it was not enough for them to win the game.
The final score was 20-19 to SCHS.
Ratu Kadavulevu School is now taking on Lelean Memorial School in the U19 grade.
