Drug suspect Nikolic appears in Nadi court

DRUG suspect John Nikolic appeared before the Nadi Magistrates Court this afternoon for his alleged involvement in the illegal importation of illicit drugs.

The 45-year-old was charged with one count of importation of illicit drugs, one count of unlawful possession of illicit drugs and one count of failure to declare arms and ammunition to a Customs officer.

The case has been transferred to the High Court in Lautoka for mention on July 17.

Mr Nikolic has been further remanded.
