THERE will be no charges laid against National Federation Party provisional candidate Feroz Gulam Mohammed.
In a statement issued by Director of Public Prosecutions Christopher Pryde, he confirmed that no charges would be laid against Mr Mohammed who was questioned by Police following an alleged criminal intimidation complaint made against him.
The NFP provisional candidate was caution interviewed on February 15 this year after a complaint was lodged by the Director of the Fiji Human Rights and Anti-Discrimination Commission Ashwin Raj.
Mr Pryde said there was insufficient evidence to support a charge against Mr Mohammed.
“And, therefore, the docket has been returned to Police,” he said.
