AUSTRALIAN based designer, Kristian Chase, the head of Aqua Blu is undoubtedly the international act to look out for at this year’s Fiji Fashion Week which takes place May 25, 26 at the FMF Gynasium at Laucala.

Chase, who has worked for three major fashion houses, Dior, Hermes and Louis Vuitton will bring a  24 piece collection to FJFW, he told Fiji Times from Australia earlier today.

The New York born Mr Chase said he was excited to showcase his designs at this year’s show.

The 31-year-old has been creative director of the Australian fashion brand since 2016.

FJFW brings a high profile international designer to the show each year with the goal of encouraging a fashion exchange between the Fijian and Pacific Island designers with their western counterparts.
