Deans Rugby: Battle for top spots for Western Zone

THE battle for the top two spots to represent the western zone to the Fiji Secondary School Rugby Deans quarter-finals will be exciting with four schools confirmed for the under 18 semi-finals.
Last year’s Deans semi-finalist Cuvu College, former champions Ratu Navula, Sigatoka Methodist High School and Natabua High School have secured a berth in the western zone semi-finals after the completion of round robin games last week.
Ratu Navula is on top of the points table and is expected to face Sigatoka Methodist in the first semi-final while Cuvu and Natabua to battle in the second semi-final.
The winners from each game will feature in the national quarter-finals.
Ratu Navula and Cuvu represented the west in last year’s competition but both teams failed to reach the final.
