THE people of Savusavu turned up in numbers to witness the opening of the new Courts Savusavu branch yesterday.
Courts chief executive officer P.L. Munasinghe said the opening of the new branch was a big achievement for the company. “Today (Friday), Courts brings to Savusavu and to the people in the region, a world-class retailing experience,” Mr Munasinghe said.
“This new Courts store will shine like a beacon of light in the Savusavu district. This Courts store is very different. First, we have ‘best buys for business’. Here we offer services to our business customers, especially the big and small hotels and resorts in and around Savusavu. Now these hotel and resort customers could buy their commercial kitchen equipment, linen, crockery, cutlery and many more range of products, right at their doorstep at special wholesale prices.”
He added the SportsWorld offered a full range of sports shoes, apparel, sporting goods and gym equipment for the sports loving public of Savusavu.
“Next, we have CyberCity, a specialty store that offers the latest in mobile phones, computers and other electronic goods and offering brands such as Apple, Samsung, HP and other world renowned brands,” said Mr Munasinghe.
“We also have the ‘Coffee at Courts’. This is the first time in our entire Courts chain of stores, that we are offering a boutique coffee shop for our customers to relax and have a delicious hot beverage when they want to take a short break from shopping. As you will experience shortly, the view from the coffee shop is simply magnificent.”
Mr Munasinghe said at Courts, they lived by certain values.
“First and foremost, we are very customer focused,” he said. “Courts Service Centres spread throughout the country and with over 60 staff to provide quick and effective after-sales service to our customers.”
The new outlet was officially opened by the Tui Nasavusavu Ratu Golea Lovodua.
