IN A bid to raise funds and support women and children charity groups, Corona Fiji handed over a $1000 cheque to WOWS Kids Fiji at the residence of Sujiro Seam, the Ambassador of France to Fiji.
Corona Fiji’s vice-president Denise Kloeden said with the donation of funds to WOWS Kids Fiji, the assistance would be of great help to the families of those battling cancer in terms of helping with the traveling costs.
“This will help anyone who needs help to get to Suva for chemo and they can support the families with this, and pay for their taxi fares and people to come out from the outer island areas,” Ms Kloeden said.
WOWS Kids Fiji team leader Viola Lesi said she was grateful to the support from Corona Fiji because the funds would be used for a worthy cause.
“Every cent counts towards the work we do in supporting the children with cancer,” Ms Lesi said.
