Consultation on the revised national youth policy

THE Ministry of Youth and Sports is currently holding a public consultation for the revised National Youth Policy 2018/2022.

While officiating at the event at DeVos on the Park in Suva today, Minister for Youth and Sports Laisenia Tuitubou said the policy has been developed with its main approach and focus on the individual youth – a person between the ages of 15-35 years.

“Our future, economic growth and sustainability is dependent on our youths,” he said.

A total of 60 people were present at the first public consultation of the revised National Youth Policy 2018-2022, compromising of 30 stakeholders and 30 youth from the Central and Eastern Division.
