MEMBERS of the public and music lovers were up on their feet for most parts of last night as singer Freddy Kado entertained them during a concert at the Holy Family Secondary School grounds.

Kado and the One Up Band were a hit with fans who were still requesting for musical numbers long after the concert had ended.

The concert was held in aid of the Saint Vincent De Paul Society in Labasa that presently supports 106 students financially.

Its vice president Semesa Vilise commended the overwhelming support.

“We have been having an increase in the number of students seeking our assistance every year and due to financial constraints, the society has had to prioritise its assistance,” Mr Vilise said.

“All funds raised through the concert will support identified unfortunate children and their families.”
