Company gives schools rugby help

BLK Limited and Vodafone Fiji Ltd have signed a sponsorship worth $250,000 in sporting uniforms and cash to 13 schools around the country.
BLK director of commercial and marketing Liga Gukisuva said their sponsorship with Vodafone gave the company an opportunity to provide 50 sets of playing apparel to 13 different schools from the U14 to U18 grades.
The sponsorship is divided into $200,000 worth of sporting apparel and $50,000 in cash.
Mr Gukisuva said with this sponsorship, children did not have to wait until reaching national teams to be wearing BLK products.
“We have seen what sports can do to our country, the win in the Olympics still lingers in our memories. We are confident with our contribution
it will lift the morale of the students to be at their best,” he said.
Mr Gukisuva thanked Vodafone Fiji Ltd for coming on board to support rugby in secondary schools around the country.
