Coke Games: Lemeki injured but positive

Update: 2:42PM INJURED is not the best place to be two weeks out from a national competition and it’s where Marist Brother’s High School student Tony Lemeki is.

But the senior sprinter is positive and working hard to get back in top form for ahead of next months Coca Cola Games.
With a personal best of 11.2seconds, Lemeki is a top contender for the blue ribbon award, the 100m senior boys race.
The current champion is Shane Tuvusa of Natabua High School whose personal best time is 10.7seconds.
“I’m on rehab at the moment and I’m confident ill recover in time for the games. I’m just want to stay positive,” he said.
MBHS won second place in last year’s Coke Games which this year will be held from April 19-21 at the ANZ Stadium.
