The favourite to win in the junior boys 100m final this afternoon is Bejamin Dixon of Suva Grammar School whose time of 11.4s in the heats places him slight ahead of a pack.
The second fastest time is from Natabua High School’s Peni Dolavale (11.46s) followed by Taniela Turaganikeli also of SGS (11.52s).
Raguiele Lagivou of Seaqaqa Central College’s time of 11.6s gives him a shot at the medal too.
The other competitors are Etuate Daunitutu of RKS (11.63s), Josua Kasami of MBHS (11.69s) and Anare Sailo of Lelean Memorial School (11.73s).
