Church marks Mother’s Sunday

THE Christian Mission Fellowship International celebrated Mother’s Sunday at the World Harvest Centre in Kinoya, Nasinu yesterday.

Speaking at the church service, CMFI media liaison officer Fauoro Titifanua shared how she wanted to honour the memory of her mother yesterday.

“I want to honour her memory because of what she taught me, helped me to understand the goodness of God in my life,” she said. She said she looked after her mother for about 18 years and never regretted that decision.

“It’s not easy looking after your elderly parents, but I don’t regret it,” she said.

Meanwhile, CMFI president the Rev Suliasi Kurulo congratulated mothers for the role they played in families, communities, the church and the nation.
