THE Nadi Bula Festival Trust’s coming charity project is likely to benefit the Nadi community at large.
Speaking at the closing of the Digicel Nadi Bula Festival on Saturday night, trust president Ravin Nadan said Project 16 was conceptualised alongside the theme for this year’s festival, “Hands of charity”
Project 16 includes the building of a community centre with a purpose of enriching the community’s physical, emotional, and spiritual health through fitness, sports, art, recreation and wellness mission and vision of this project.
Mr Nadan also said the centre would be used as an evacuation centre in times of disaster.
Agriculture Minister Inia Seruiratu commended the project, saying it was this social responsibility that would benefit Fijians.
