THE defending champions of the Vodafone Secondary Schools Football Championship under-17 grade Kamil Muslim College will not feature in the competition this year.

Fiji Secondary Schools Soccer Association president Aminesh Ram said Kamil Muslim College did not qualify from the district competition.

Ram has also confirmed U15 grade winner AD Patel also did not make it to the main competition after the school was bundled out in the district competition.

“We are looking forward to the successful competition as the interests are growing,” he said.

The championship will be played in Nadi next month.

Meanwhile, Baulevu High School has qualified to defend their U19 grade title from the Southern Division.
