CHIEF executive officers and senior management from some of the country’s biggest organisations gathered at The Fiji Orchid today for the Fiji Human Resources Institute’s CEO’s Breakfast.

Speakers at the event included BSP Life’s head of sales Ratu Josaia Rayawa and FMF Group managing director Ram Bajekal.

About 30 senior management executives and head of organisations attended the event and discussions centred around the importance of having experienced HR managers and empowering them to play an important role in the strategic development of business.

Among some of the issues highlighted was the lack of high-level training for HR students in the country.

The FHRI is preparing to host its biggest calendar event – the FHRI Annual Conference – at the Sheraton Fiji Resort on October 19-20.
