THE much anticipated Global InterHash 2018 Red Dress Charity run received a major boost yesterday with the partnership from Paradise Beverages.
Paradise Beverages yesterday signed a deal to provide $25,000 sponsorship to cater for the thousands of participants from around 60 countries who have registered for the event.
Company head of marketing and new product development Rowena Taito said the company fully supported the event.
“As the power behind Fiji’s favourite beverages, we are very proud of our local heritage and passionate about making a positive contribution to our community,” she said.
“We are thrilled to be involved and our general manager has already registered for the race. I am sure a few of our 350-plus Fiji-based employees will be lacing up to join him.”
Event organiser Dr Ram Raju thanked Paradise Beverages for their partnership.
He said the timely donation would boost the event at the same time it would best market Fiji’s favourite beverages.
Raju said the event also had the support of Government.
The last InterHash was held in Bali attracting more than 5500 harshers.
The Fiji event will be held in Nadi on May 24-27.
