AN organisation involved in advising and assisting Fijian patients seeking medical treatment in India is calling on people to take advantage of their services.
Director of Medivisor Health Kumar Sushant said they had facilitated medical travel for more than 200 patients from Fiji in the last three years .
“We offer services in three areas,” he said.
“Firstly, education – we do a lot of awareness and campaigns on health.
“We also do consulting and thirdly we provide assistance to patients while doing visa arrangements to travelling and accommodation.
“Overall we deal with the comprehensive health of people. The response has been amazing. We don’t charge anything to the patients.”
He said while visiting India, patients could face problems at every end and this was when their services would come in handy.
“Problems start from here as well. Not many people are aware that now people from Fiji can apply for an e-medical visa and fly to India.
“They also need to have medical clearance to take a flight.”
He said patients could face problems at airports and hotels in India for various reasons.
Mr Sushant added there were plans in place to open an information center in the country for people to get easy access to their services.
