Builders find human skeleton

APIA – A human skeleton was found at the site for a new church building been excavated at the village of Auala, Savai’i last week.
The skeleton was brought in to the Tuasivi Hospital and later transferred to the National Hospital in Apia for further investigation.
Acting Police Commissioner Fauono Talalelei Tapu confirmed the findings.
He said the villagers were digging the site when some boys saw long bones lying loosely on the ground. Further digging and careful examination revealed the skeleton being that of a human being.
