MISS Jubaniwai Sudesh Transport Cema Bolawaqatabu was crowned Miss Vodafone Coral Coast 2018 last night.
“I’m so grateful and overwhelmed to have been chosen to represent Sigatoka to the Miss Fiji Pageant,” she said.
Chief guest Local Government Minister Parveen Kumar reminded the people of Sigatoka to live up to the carnival theme — “Our Environment is Our Responsibility”.
“I wish to reiterate my concern at the state of our environment,” he said. “Do not rubbish your golden beaches, blue seas and green valleys.”
Mr Kumar said the winners of all carnivals would compete for the opportunity to represent Fiji to the Miss South Pacific pageant at the Miss Fiji contest in Rakiraki later this year.
