Body of late DCP Sauliga arrives in Nadi

THE body of Fiji’s late Deputy Commissioner of Police Isikeli Sauliga arrived at the Nadi International Airport earlier this afternoon.

Acting Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu and senior officers from the Western Division were at the airport awaiting the arrival of his body from New Zealand to be escorted to their family home in Nadali.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro also confirmed that the funeral gathering would be held in Nadali.

She adds that the homecoming service will be held at 10am at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Vuci Road tomorrow before the late DCP Sauliga is laid to rest at the Nasinu Cemetry at 9 miles.

The late DCP Sauliga was 53-years-old when he passed away at the Wellington Hospital on August 28.

DCP Sauliga was on leave at the time of his death.

He was from Nadogo, Saqani in the province of Cakaudrove and is survived by his wife and six children.
