Biggest test for Fijian boxer

FIJI Welterweight boxer Ronald Naidu will get the biggest test of his boxing career when he faces Australian Brent Dames in the World Boxing Foundation Welterweight title contest on Saturday.

The 27-year-old Nadi boxer has been training hard for the bout and will give his best shot to win in front of his home fans.

Naidu who made his professional debut in 2011 has won seven bouts with three by way of knock-outs, lost two and recorded three draws.

Dames on the other hand made his debut in 2014 winning six and lost four.

The program is hosted by Kiran Boxing Promotion and scheduled at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park.
