THE world’s first island beach club has a new dining experience for tourists visiting Fiji.

Over the next few weeks, Malamala Beach Club will host visitors to a night under the stars on its Seafood and Sunset Experience.

The new experience was launched on June 29 and would run until October 26 held every Friday.

Malamala Beach Club general manager Tish Mete said the night experience was an extension of the club’s famous day trip that guests have enjoyed since they opened.

“It’s all about relaxation at Malamala and we have people coming out to enjoy the sun, the sea and the beach during the day,” she said.

“So it’s really important for our guests to know that we also have a night function for the next 16 weeks.

“We started it (Seafood and Sunset Experience) because we can have our guests enjoying great food with the ocean and a bornfire in the back- ground.”

She said locals could also take advantage of the limited offer.

“It’s only $159 and if you are a local, you get 15 per cent off on the package which is a great deal for our locals.”

The club boasts menus put together by award winning chef Lance Seeto who also hosts guests to the Seafood experience.

“This is about a celebration of our style of cooking and all of our seafood,” he said.

“This is all of the things that we Fijians enjoy and offering it to our international guests.”
