BCF plans more fights

THE Boxing Commission of Fiji (BCF) is targeting to hold professional tournaments every month.

The Kiran Boxing Promotions will be held at the Tilak High School in Lautoka this evening.

BCF western director Usman Ali said the next event would be held on May 5.

“We have ten licensed promoters,” Ali said.

“The aim is to organise as many promotions as we can however the promoters need to adhere to the rules and regulations of the national body.

“The venue of the next event will be announced soon. We want to groom more champion boxers.”
