PEACE can only be maintained if people have faith in the system promoting the outlaw of armed aggression.

New Zealand High Commissioner to Fiji Jonathan Curr made this comment at the Anzac Day gathering at the Suva Military Cemetery yesterday.

The dawn stand-to was organised by the Australian High Commission and guests included President Jioji Konrote, members of the New Zealand Air Force, Australian Defence Force, Commander of the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto, senior officers of the RFMF, members of the Fiji ex-serviceman, representatives of the diplomatic corps and members of the public.
