YOUTH leaders from Tonga, Samoa, Fiji and New Zealand were part of a three days discipleship training at the Holy trinity Anglican Cathedral in Suva.

The young leaders represented their various units under Anglican Diocese of Polynesia at the training which concluded today.

National Youth Facilitator of Polynesia Anglican church Lusia Havea said discipleship was vital to the church.

“We need to work together on how we going to move together in one direction. The outcome is that each of these leaders will go back to their units and talk more about discipleship to the young people,” she said.

“This training was discipleship training and this is the first part of two series of training, the first part of the training is an introduction to the young leaders what discipleship is and means to the young people of the Anglican Church.”
