RISHIKUL Sanatan College’s under-15 football team has stormed their way to the 2018 Fiji Secondary Schools Soccer Association Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Championship after 11 years.

The side beat Bhawani Dayal Arya Colle­ge 1-0 and then beat Mahatma Gandhi Memorial High School by the same margin.

Rishikul Sanatan College assistant principal Dinesh Naidu said he was proud of the team’s achievement.

“We are happy with the players and we are developing them for the future as there are eight players in the team who are under the age of 14. We have got them and we will work with them since it is our five-year development program.

Meanwhile, Vashist Muni College qualified from the national championship from the under-17 grade.
