DIRECT air services and space constraint to major Fijian exporters destinations has been an issue.
However, Air New Zealand Cargo using Auckland as hub has helped Fijian exporters to export their products to any part in the world.
It says it will continue to work closely with the Fijian Government, customers, shippers, manufactures and freight forwarders to deliver Fijian made products globally in a professional manner.
“We have done these tours for last 10 or more years and these are done annually.
“Tours offered to different Air New Zealand destination are firstly to thank our Fijian Freight agents for the continued support given to Air New Zealand Cargo during each financial year and second.
“It is to broaden and enhance the knowledge of our local freight forwarders to be of international standard bringing in innovative ideas and implement these in their own works of life.”
Air New Zealand serves 360 cities in 36 countries and with its global partners.
Air New Zealand Fiji was a winner of the best service providers to exports and freight agents of Fiji during the 2012 Prime Minister’s Exporter of the Year Award.
