ADI Vuga Mere’s aim at the final show of the 2018 Kaila! Star Search competition is to own that stage.
The 20-year-old made the top 10 after the third round of eliminations last Friday at the Village 6 cinemas in Suva.
“Preparations have been hard because the competition is tough, but since we are all competing to win, for me it is just to expose my talent and just to meet new people because that’s the most fun thing about competitions,” she said.
“But preparations for me have also been tough because of song choice and it all depends on the judges, where last week it was the judges’ choice and we had to go with whatever they chose.”
She says her biggest challenge is to balance her academic work and being part of the competition. The finals will be held at the Valelevu grounds on August 11.
